Rebecca and I work at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City for three years and live close to the Missions Base with our four children. Our vision is to see people live out obedient love to Jesus through prayer, evangelism, and discipleship fueled by an intimate relationship with him. At IHOPKC, we minister to the Lord, lead a discipleship program and engage with the lost through evangelism in Kansas City with a focus on those marked by poverty and broken families systems to meet spiritual and physical needs.

We believe that prayer, evangelism, and discipleship are all needed in order to see any community or city live this out.

As staff at the IHOPKC we engage with each of these pieces. First and foremost we minister to the Lord and intercede for breakthrough at IHOPKC’s prayer room. Second, we help to lead a 3 month internship called “Intro to IHOPKC” where we get to disciple believers into a life of prayer and intimacy with Jesus that fuels them for missions in whatever context the Lord places them after the internship. And finally, we engage the lost through evangelism in the public schools and neighborhoods of Kansas City.
